POSITION: Veterinarian Technician
DUTIES:
- Start appointments, acquire a complete medical history and chief complaint prior to presenting to the veterinarian;
- Have ability to complete blood draws, cytology and perform laboratory testing is required;
- Provide care for in-house and drop-off patients (including cat, dog and pocket pets);
- Perform surgical prep and monitor anesthesia for various routine and emergency surgeries is required;
- Assist in the updating of client/patient files as needed;
- Courteously and professionally address clients via telemedicine, email and/or in clinic;
- Exercise time management skills and prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner;
- Be comfortable working independently and with the team.
- 2 Year Veterinarian Degree or Veterinarian Technician Diploma;
- 5 years experience as Veterinarian or Veterinarian Technician;
- $19.00 - $22.00 per hour;
- 35-40 hrs per week.
