An expanding London manufacturer of Precision Tooling, Dies and Special Machines has an IMMEDIATE opening for a full-time permanent AFTERNOON Tool and Die Maker position.

Major Responsibilities

• Progressive and transfer die builiding experience
• Die trouble shooting experience
• Blue spotting experience
• Strong machining skills

Knowledge and Education
 

• Recognized Certificate of Qualification as Tool & Die Maker.

Work Experience
 

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience required in manufacturing

You Must Have The Ability To:
 

• Ability to use hand tools.
• Strong communication skills: both written and verbal.
• Self-direct with little supervision;
• Handle multiple tasks concurrently with frequent interruptions
• Work under pressure
• Problem solve and determine alternate options
• Anticipate, understand and respond to the needs of external and internal customers
• Abide by Health and Safety protocols
• Must have strong communication skills and the ability to converse professionally with customers (both internal and external)
• Experience operating an overhead crane and forklift is an asset
