Are you good with numbers? Do you have experience in underwriting? We are looking for a junior underwriter to join our client in Waterloo for a 9 month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the underwriting of company registered and non-register savings plans.
You will be responsible for:
*Developing competitive pricing for company group savings plans
*Tracking and reporting underwriting decision/ad-hoc projects
*Improving the underwriting process
*Maintaining pricing spreadsheets and logs
Ideal candidates have previous compliance and/or underwriting experience
Professional work environment
Waterloo location
9 Month contract
$24-25/hour
8am to 5pm
Training provided
*Must have previous underwriting experience (preferably in the Financial field)
*Excellent PC skills with demonstrated aptitude with Excel including macros and pivot tables
*Ability to create and edit data through spreadsheets
*Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude
