We are currently recruiting for the following employment opportunity:

Job Title: Firmware Designer

Our client who is a leader in the manufacturing of Ac-Dc power supplies and Dc-Dc Converters is looking for their next Firmware Designer.

Reporting to: Firmware Design Group Leader

Job Responsibilities:
  • responsible for developing and debugging firmware for use within power supplies
  • Firmware Development within the schedule requirements
  • Firmware documentation and tracking
  • Development of firmware algorithms and code for the designed in hardware
  • Support to the hardware design teams in integrating and debugging the code and overall functionality
  • Maintenance of firmware as required, and documentation of all revision updates
 
Requirements:
  • · Bachelor’s level degree in Electrical Engineering
  • · Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a design environment
  • · Advanced knowledge of the related programming languages (Assembly,  C/Embedded C, RTOS, Visual basic)
  • · Familiarity with microcontroller hardware design and interfacing to analog circuitry
  • · Experience with analog design, and understanding of control loop functionality
  • · Excellent interpersonal skills
  • · Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • · Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  •   Good project and time management skills
