Job Description

Located at our Berkshire Residential Rentals location, this position is responsible for contributing to and coordinating maintenance projects, property inspections, to enhance customer and contractor relationships. Provides excellent customer management and high-level integration between all staff as it pertains to the Maintenance needs of the department.

Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure all maintenance requests are tracked, diagnosed, details obtained, prioritized, assigned and resolved within established timeframes and quality standards. 
• Communicate and liaise between customer service desk and maintenance department to ensure a consistent flow of information is maintained.
• Complete regular property inspections and coordinate follow up work. Visit properties as required to investigate customer inquiries or complaints.
• Maintain related maintenance records and documentation, including work orders, requests for quotes, invoices, materials, costs, contracts and purchase orders. 
• Assist with preparation and distribution of correspondence to staff, residents and the general public.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experienced in landlord-tenant law, property inspections and assessments.
• Knowledge of current health and safety, fire code and building code regulations. 
• Excellent communication, people skills, enjoys communicating with the public, clients and contractors with a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer assistance. 
• Project management and effective multi-tasking.
• Proven ability to work in a hectic, demanding environment with flexibility in terms of schedule to meet deadlines or complete projects. 
• Adept at troubleshooting, identifying the problem promptly and working towards a positive resolution and follow up. Skilled at research, collecting data, summarizing cost projections, assessing quotes for work. 
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and other related computer programs.
