You will be part of a global Engineering team that is building a state-of-the-art web-based reporting, analytics and diagnostics platform. As part of the team, you will contribute new ideas and features and provide simple yet elegant designs to complex problems with a focus on usability and fast response times. You have a natural understanding of user-focused design and understand current web development trends and technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide insight and technical leadership on web-based development methodologies
• Engage with engineering teams for requirements gathering
• Design and implement web-based applications for managing Sandvine products
• Identify product areas for improvement and lead change

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics Engineering
• 5 years of work experience in web-based UI development
• Superior knowledge of JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS 3 and other modern web development frameworks
• Experience writing dynamic web applications that use JSON via REST services
• Experience with databases and SQL
• REST server-side experience in Golang/Python/Node.js
• User experience design concepts
• High volume transaction based platforms integrating multiple cloud and internal systems
• Effective communication skills
• Quick learner with ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a passion for designing user-focused products
• Team player
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
