Job Description
| We are looking for a hardworking, energetic Outside Maintenance staff memeber to assist in maintaining the grounds within our Brantford Residential Rental portfolio for Sifton Properties Limited. |
• Operation of various types of mowing equipment and/or light duty utility vehicles.
• Operation of rotary mowers, trimmers, blowers and assorted landscape tools.
• Litter pick up, garbage collection, delivery of letters.
• Maintenance shop clean-up.
• Assisting with various outside maintenance activities, routines and projects.
• Participate in departmental Health & Safety and environmental initiatives, including completion of assigned training, hazard awareness and use of all required personal protective and safety equipment.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a landscape or grounds maintenance environment is a must.
• Able to work within a team environment, and demonstrate a positive customer relations focus.
• Ability to perform physical job functions during all weather conditions.
• Dependable transportation and ability to report for flexible work schedules.
• Valid driver’s license
• Must supply your own CSA approved safety footwear.
• Prior safety training and awareness of the safe operation of grounds maintenance equipment and other safety protocols is preferred.
