We are currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager for our client's facility in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

Key responsibilities are:

• Lead teams comprised of engineering, Nuclear Engineering, project planners/cost estimators, QA/QC and field operations at nuclear utilities.
• Provide effective leadership through communicating expectations and instilling accountability.
• Direct the overall technical, cost and schedule requirements on assigned contracts, including engineering and field services.
Interface with customer to ensure that contract requirements are met including cost/schedule reporting, multi-phase design reviews and other engineering deliverables.
• Develop growth opportunities in Nuclear Equipment business line.
• Take corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance with technical specifications and schedule commitments.
• Develop proposals for Nuclear Equipment projects and lead technical and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate subcontracting efforts to ensure that any outsourced work scopes meet all technical requirements.
Negotiation and resolution of any technical and/or commercial issues with customers and subcontractors.


Job Qualifications / Requirements:

- Must have experience managing projects over $100 million dollar range
• BSc in Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 10 years related experience.
• International Project Management experience, ideally in China.
• Knowledge of the Mandarin Language an asset.
• Significant contract management experience with sophisticated buyers such as nuclear utilities.
• Experience in customer relationship management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Financial understanding of cost, budgets and profit generation.
• Well organized, able to multi-task and have strong problem solving capabilities.
• Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to effectively impact and influence others.
• Willing to travel periodically, both in province and international (up to 25% of time)
