Housing First Support Worker

Position: To deliver a Housing First pilot project targeted to 20 individuals in Guelph Wellington that have complex/chronic issues and are  currently homeless

Applicants are required to have:

• Experience in social services and/or supported housing
• Experience working with individuals with addictions and/or mental health issues
• Demonstrated understanding of principles of Housing First
• Patience, creativity, flexibility & compassion
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship facilitation skills
• Excellent communication, writing and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to maintain accurate records and submit detailed statistical reports
• University Degree or equivalent level of experience & training in social services field
• Driver's License
