Job Description
Financial Analyst
The Guelph Police Service is now accepting applications for the position of Financial Analyst. This is a part-time position working approximately 20-hours per week. The Financial Analyst will participate in the development, monitoring and analysis of departmental and organizational budgets and other internal financial processes
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- University degree in a Finance or Business Related area and intermediate standing in a professional accounting designation program OR
- Completion of a professional accounting designation with a community college diploma or university degree in a related area
- Minimum 3-years experience in a related position, public sector experience preferred
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and time management skills
- Proficient in the use of office technology, including Microsoft Office software. JD Edwards experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and able to prioritize and meet inflexible deadlines
