We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our client, a well-known insurance and financial services provider, as a Forms Analyst in their Waterloo office. You will be joining their team of technical communicators and analysts to support all new business applications for insurance, both paper and electronic, and policy service and claims processing for all active insurance policies. Ideal candidate are experienced forms analysts who understand forms design and plain language best practices to take on the challenges of creating clear and effective forms.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Consulting with various subject matter experts to support key projects requiring forms development
• Understanding issues to be resolved and the objectives to be achieved
• Determining how the forms will be supported by:
• Modifying and then executing appropriate processes
• Following the materials through all stages from initial draft and review to
signoff,
• Maintaining a high standard of quality in all analysis and writing, including
form design, plain language, consistency, grammar, and structure
• Adapting your writing style to reflect the unique voice of each product
• Collaborating on a daily basis with stakeholders to ensure the quality and
accuracy of documents
• Managing a diverse workload with demanding and/or competing deadlines
in a fast-paced environment
• Other duties as required
Qualified candidates are proven multi-taskers, capable of meeting deadlines, and able to provide a portfolio to showcase their accomplishments.

Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm
$26 - 30/hour
Minimum 5 years of experience in forms design
Post-secondary education in a field related to forms analysis or technical communication
Intermediate or expert knowledge of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Livecycle
working knowledge of written French Education and experience
Excellent analytical skills and strong ability to research
Strong conceptual skills and a capacity to quickly master complex product details
Ability to multitask and prioritize - Able to demonstrate good judgement
