Our client in the Automation Industry in the Cambridge area has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for an Automation Technologist.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Read and understand blueprints
- Prepare Engineering designs, drawings and specifications
- Test machines and equipment
- On-site installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Operate CAD System for Electrical schematics
As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- Post secondary education in technical field (Electrical Technologist Diploma preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience with PLC Programming (Allen Bradley)
- 1-3 years of experience with Robotics
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Excellent communication skills
*This position does require travel to customer sites across North America, approximately 30% travel is required.
