The interRAI Program of Research (interRAI) addresses the need for improved prevention, early intervention and treatment services for children who may be at risk for, or who present with, mental health challenges.  The interRAI Program of research offers several distinct components:  (i) Instrument Development; (ii) Care planning and related algorithms; (iii) Research and evaluation (iv) Case Mix and Resource Allocation; (v) Quality Indicators; (vi) Training; (vii) Knowledge Mobilization.
 
The Research Project Coordinator plays a critical role in the coordination, collection, analysis and dissemination of research activities and results within multiple projects in various sites locally, nationally and internationally.  With  intimate knowledge of the research program, the Coordinator plays an integral role in assisting the Principal Investigator and research team by managing personnel and finances, conducting or identifying appropriate training for team members, and participating in strategic planning related to the specific grants in the program and new funding opportunities to expand the program.
 
Qualifications
Education:
-      Masters in Psychology

Experience:
-   2 years' experience with health related community-based program evaluation
-   2 years' experience with research design, measurement design, manual development and training, test development, reliability and validity
-   Experience developing and submitting research ethics protocols
-   Experience in integrated and program-end knowledge translation including writing for both academic journals and nonacademic audiences (i.e., funders, project partners)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-   Knowledge of and experience conducting research with communities, schools, Ministries and organizations
-   Knowledge of and experience with research ethics, writing manuscripts, development of grant proposals
-   Knowledge of assessment, instrument construction and development, program evaluation, research methodology
-   Independent problem solving ability
-   Strong familiarity with SPSS (data entry, cleaning, ANOVA, multiple regression, logistic regression, multivariate analyses, computing effect sizes)
-   Experience and skills with both quantitative and qualitative analyses
-   Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office
-   Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence dealing with all levels of an organization
-   Experience working with vulnerable populations
-   Financial experience to assist with budgets
