ABOUT THIS POSITION
 

The IT Support Technician will provide technical assistance for both computer hardware and software and answer Jira requests, update ticketing systems, and answer queries on basic technical issues.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work under guidance of leads to help achieve and maintain an efficient company IT infrastructure
  • Daily end user hardware support (troubleshooting system failures, upgrading systems/life-cycles, support gaming consoles)
  • Daily end user software support (Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Jira, Perforce/P4V, Visual Studio, Autodesk & Adobe Products, various coding & 3D applications, etc.)
  • Assist with managing user accounts (AD, E-mail, Jira)
  • Set up of new hire workstations and image maintenance (KACE)
  • Daily system check procedures
  • Accurate, thorough documentation of all work performed
  • Workstation & office moves
  • Various organizational tasks
REQUIREMENTS
  • Postsecondary in IT, Networking or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in IT at an administrative level
  • Knowledge of research and development analysis techniques 
  • Tech savvy
  • Strong communication skills as well as strong attention to detail
  • Be a team player and a self-starter with the ability to multitask
