The customer care representative is responsible to provide outstanding customer service for both external and internal customers. To regularly communicate and exemplify the company vision and mission statement on a daily basis with an objective of furthering the company goals and assist in improving the daily operational procedures.

Customer Care Representative - Brantford ON
The customer care representative is responsible to provide outstanding customer service for both external and internal customers. To regularly communicate and exemplify the company vision and mission statement on a daily basis with an objective of furthering the company goals and assist in improving the daily operational procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Order Entry
- To input orders daily through EDI process or manually and confirm orders to customers within 24 hours of receipt for all Solis Customers.
- Ensure order minimums for all customers dependant on region and requirements are followed.
- Make certain 7 -10 day lead times on all orders unless otherwise specified or authorized signed approval..
- To communicate to all warehouses electronically or manually all orders shipping from that warehouse, i.e. SWOPE custom software.
- To perform daily invoicing from Business Vision for all Solis customers including EDI invoices
- To issue credits for returns, pricing or OS&D pricing with proper authorized sign off required.
- Answer and respond to all customers same day as enquiry. If response is not known, then to let the customer know when an answer can be expected.
- To maintain and record Customer complaints as a % of business and report as required.
- Develop effective communications to all parties for smooth order shipments and respect internal and external receiving hour requirements.
- To coordinate orders to establish full truckloads wherever possible for freight cost savings.
- Assist in month end process in order and transfer clearing of all warehouses.
- Inventory adjustment keying at month end
Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in a customer care representative role or similar customer care focused position
- Communicate accurately and effectively
- Projecting a professional and enthusiastic attitude at all times
- Sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines when managing client requests
- Ability to manage clients and build customer confidence
- Takes ownership to resolve customer issues
- Ability to work in fast paced, multi task environment
- Ability to cope with difficult people and situations
- Ability to deal effectively and quickly with change
