Job Description
For more than 35 years, Fanshawe College has been a leader in providing driver training that includes: F Licence, Driver Ed Instructor - In Vehicle, G2, M2 & M2 Exit, Motor Tricycle (Spyder) & Testing, Air Brake Endorsement, and Fork Lift. Our latest initiative, the rollout of a new Tractor Trailer “A” Licence Program continues to demonstrate our commitment to ensuring Fanshawe continues providing a range of quality training and services in transportation industry throughout SW Ontario. Recruitment is now underway for Certified Truck Driver Trainer(s):
Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate(s) must work well with limited supervision and be able to travel between Fanshawe College campuses. All training positions begin as contract agreements with a workload of up to 24 hours per week, daytime delivery, 8am – 4pm.

Skills & Experience:
- Possess a minimum 5-year recent driving history, with verifiable OTR tractor / trailer experience Commercial Vehicle Operators Registration and (clean) Driver Abstract
- Current Class AZ Commercial Driver's Licence required
- Fleet Driver Training course required
- Ability to work outdoors in climate weather conditions, for extended periods
- Ability to apply principles and standard industry semi-truck and trailer practices specific to driving instruction
- Demonstrated experience with delivering instructional strategies and techniques of subject matter and course content, considered an asset
- Ability to monitor/document student performance, evaluate driving knowledge, and document training records
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, computer data-entry skills
