Our client in Kitchener is currently seeking a Purchasing and Customs Administrator:

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Receive requisitions, analyze, prioritize by requirement and issue Purchase Orders
- Develop and investigate sources of suppliers with assistance from the Senior Buyer
- Issue requests for quotation for estimate as required; obtain written response by deadline and respond to customers
- Prepare and maintain records of all customs papers, reports and permit requests
- Audit transportation and brokerage invoice before payment
- Typing, filing and other administrative duties as necessary
- Act as liaison for Customs Brokers
- Arrange for overseas transportation
- Expedite orders as required

Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of Purchasing / Customs experience.
- Ability to communicate with peers, co-workers, and in-person or by telephone with supplier contacts
- Work with minimal supervision
- Ability to react to schedule demands
- Working knowledge of MS Office
