Business Development Manager – Software Sales
Our client, a leader in providing high-performance software tools for engineering, science, and mathematics is currently looking for an ambitious individual who specializes in Software Sales for their Waterloo Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a territory in Western US. Travel to the US will be required every 4-6 weeks. We are looking for strong sales individuals who have experience with Enterprise software’s such as ERPs, and CRMs. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is sales driven, is passionate about selling, and really wants to be a part of a growing organization.
Primarily you will be responsible for:
• Developing and executing strategic plans and programs to ensure profit, growth and expansion of company products/ solutions
• Selling to Institutions such as Universities, and Colleges and dealing with Professors, Engineers, Science, Technology
• Areas of focus are: Driving Sales Results, Building High-Level Strategic Customer Relationships, Demonstrating leadership and Collaborating with Others
• Preparing and presenting solutions to clients in regards to their needs
• Responsible for monthly sales target reports, along with results, profitability, and market share growth and trending reports
Advantages
• Base Salary $50-60K, total comp $100-120K on target

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following:
• 3-5 years of experience in software selling/ service
• Experience in Salesforce.com (CRM) an asset
• Demonstrated results through over achievement
• Proven track record in business development, ability to increase sales, land new accounts, and drive growth
• Strong technical skills with a willingness to learn
