Our client in Waterloo is looking for an Ontario licensed CNC Mould Maker/Programmer and must have experience in CNC programming and cutting of new/existing plastic injection tooling in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Successful candidates will have atleast 1 year of programming experience, some certification or credentials OR several years of industry experience, they would still be interested in meeting.

This is a permanent opportunity with one of Kitchener-Waterloo's largest automotive manufacturers with room to grow and develop your skills.

- Reporting to the tooling manager, shift supervisor or shop foreman
- working with mould designer apprentices and supervisors

What's required of you?

- Minimum grade 12 education
- 4 year apprentice program or equivalent work experience
- Candidates with multiple years of industry experience would also be considered
- Working knowledge of precision measuring equipment
- Geometry and trigonometry understanding with basic math skills, English reading and writing
- Must have blueprint reading skills
- Must be familiar with injection moulding machines, preventative maintenance and tool shop equipment
- Ability to work in a fast paced, teamwork environment with minimal supervision
- 2 positive work references
