London Machinery Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation Company, is an international leader in the manufacture and servicing of concrete transit mixers and refuse equipment. If you have the qualifications we seek, join the London family of skilled employees in our facilities located adjacent to the London International Airport. We are currently accepting resumes for potential new positions as a result of increased customer demand. 

Successful candidates will have three (3) to five (5) years experience in the assembly and/or servicing of automotive or heavy equipment. Your background is probably that of an automotive or truck mechanic, machine fitter, machine or mechanical maintenance, MIG welder with fitting experience, etc. Experience with MIG welding;  hydraulics and/or 12 volt electrical systems will be considered an asset. Able to interpret blueprints, use other production documentation, including computer formatted information, is also considered beneficial.

Assembler/Welder has a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits package (following successful completion of the probationary period). The starting wage for this position is $20.25 for the first five-hundred and four (504) hour probationary period; then $21.22; at nine (9) months $22.20, and at one (1) year $23.96. Effective August 11, 2014 the rate structure, as above, increases to $20.60; $21.57; $22.55 and $24.31

The specifics of these coverages are determined and governed solely by the specific plans and/or policies. We work four,  ten hour days, Monday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday, with occasional overtime required.

All successful applicant(s) will require appropriate transportation, as our location does not currently have adjacent bus service. This position requires that the candidate have their OWN tools (similar to those required by an automotive mechanic.)
