Our client in Guelph is looking for a SQL/data reporting specialist to join their team. For this role you must have at last 3+ years experience writing SQL queries/scripts. You must also be able to write reports, validate data, identify tables, check data and results and deliver data using SQL.

For this position you will write reports and deliver data using advanced queries/scripts in SQL. You will also: work with various business units and stakeholders to determine data and/or reporting needs, develop and build reports using reporting tools that deliver accurate and effective information to diverse audiences as well as extract and integrate new and existing data sources as well as document data processes and project details in the documentation system.

You will also be required to: translate user needs into detailed technical specifications and use various tools to explore, troubleshoot, and verify data.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of progressive work experience in SQL
• 3+ years experience with SQL reports, writing complex SQL queries, and delivering data.
• Experience with Reporting tools a strong asset
• Experience with web analytic tools, including working with data sets for reporting and analysis an asset
• Knowledge of / experience with data visualization an asset
• Experience of knowledge of PS Query an asset
• Oracle database experience an asset
• University degree in a related discipline a strong asset
