The Position… The Role…
As the successful candidate you will report directly to the CEO, but will develop respectful and trusting relationships with all members of the leadership team.  Your primary focus is to:

• Utilize your research and analytic talents in your task to gate keep the legal angles in relation to the regulatory and compliance facets of the company.
• Ask the critical questions for compliance and regulatory matters.
• Analyze reports from the Regulatory Commission and other bodies and quickly identify the critical items requiring attention in relation to the company’s best interests.
• Create well-crafted written responses to the Commission and other related Associations.
• Drive and lead regulatory strategies for product development and growth opportunities.
• Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders, associations, regulatory bodies and key advocates.
• Key advisor and subject matter expert for all inquiries pertaining to privacy, data security, compliance and health & safety.
• Continually drive and lead strategies for Execulink Telecom’s continued growth and product development.
• Lead product management and develop activities including; developing product requirements; concept design and testing of new services; preparing business case justification for new product investments; managing stakeholders; identifying launch strategies; effectively handing off finished products.

 Your Qualifications…

• Completion of a Post-Secondary University Degree (Legal, Engineering or Accounting an asset, but not required.
• Demonstrated career growth with increasing levels of responsibility in a management capacity.
• Experience in interpreting legislation, regulations, policies, market trends and actively participate in policy development.
• Working knowledge of Federal legislation and the ability to quickly grasp the knowledge of the Telecommunications Act and Broadcasting Act.
• Proven communication talent both written and verbal as demonstrated in your ability to command and call to action responses.
• Demonstrated strategy development, critical and strategic thinking abilities with highly honed problems solving and analytical skills.
• Above all a excellent interpersonal skill set with relationship building focus and the ability to ask the difficult questions with the resulting positive outcomes for the company as  whole.
