Randstad Guelph is currently looking for an Extruder Operator for our client located just outside of Guelph. What will you be doing?- Run the extruding processes - Perform Perform and record quality control tests using the company provided quality extruding line shut down sequence processes - Lead process workforce in order to comply with the production planning - Complete production reports as required by manager and record any production events - Assist maintenance department, as required, and perform first level maintenance tasks - Perform inventory of raw ingredients / packaging materials / finished products - Stop any equipment / operative works / external company works if safety/ environment protection/fire protection rules are brokenWhat's in it for you?- Permanent direct hire- Work for an international company- Attractive benefits package with RSP contribution- Onsite gym- Hourly wage of $24.59/hr ($20.46/hr while in training)- Annual performance reviews, with pay increases- Clean and air conditioned facilityWhat are we looking for?- Successful candidates will have relevant experience in extrusion (plastics, human/animal food) - Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment - Experience in processing or machine set up, considered as asset - Mechanical aptitude as asset - Knowledge of feed/food industry considered an asset - Must be computer literate as the extruder is run through computer programs - Must be willing to work irregular hours and extended shift if necessary - Shows Initiative, Self-motivated, Team playerIf you are interested in this position, please apply today!How to apply:
