Key Accountabilities:

We are currently seeking a Senior Web Application Developer. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will:

• Design and develop web applications which enable customers to have insight and visibility into their video distribution network
• Implement both web interfaces and back end services
• Work with hardware and software team members on new product designs
• Generate new intellectual property for Dejero
• Work in a fast-paced, late stage start-up environment

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math or a related field
• At least 7 years of software development experience
• Proficient in building web-based applications using Ruby on Rails
• Experience with AJAX, JSON, jQuery and RESTful APIs
• Web interface development experience in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, targeting both desktop and mobile browsers
• Familiarity with client-side JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS
• Significant back-end experience with databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
• Comfort working in a cross-platform environment (Windows/Linux)
• Experience with standard software development methodologies
• Passion for  developing high quality, robust software
• Successful candidates will have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, excellent communications skills (written/?verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.
