Job Description

???????Agricorp is looking for a Senior SharePoint/.NET Programmer Analyst to join the Development Services Group (DSG) in the Information and ?Technology Services division?.

This position will be a key member of the development team that supports ITS, corporate initiatives and projects across Agricorp's programs.

The Role

Agricorp uses a SharePoint platform for the corporate web site (agricorp.com) as well as Common Document Management System (CDMS) -- a common platform for storing/sharing customers' documents generated by multiple legacy systems.  As a Senior SharePoint / .NET programmer analyst at Agricorp Development Services Group, your primary role is to support all the development and production support activities in these two systems.  You will also be assigned to work on other .NET applications as needed and engaged in design, development and system analysis for complex processes in support of new solutions running on SharePoint and .NET platforms. In this role you will:

  • Provide requirements definition and solution design and prototyping by translating needs to the result across SharePoint multiple platforms and technologies
  • Provide recommendation into system upgrades, selection and implementation of new features to translate complex requirements to solution and product
  • Prepare and maintain detailed design/technical specification documents for delivering requested business functionality through the solution
  • Responsible for development of new requirements following SDLC best practices
  • Work within development team to ensure quality of the deliverables in areas of  configurations, customizations, workflows, screens and business rules
  • Participate in addressing production issues as required
  • Support and collaborate with System Test Services team
  • Partner with business analysts and business users to create training materials and documentation when it is required

Qualifications

  • B. SC. or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with SharePoint Servers and SharePoint Foundation, PowerShell, OOTB features and Fast Search.
  • Proven experience in development, customization and upgrading SharePoint 2010 to 2013.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint platform and its technologies: Web Parts, event receivers, Master Pages, site definitions, configuration/customization of SharePoint sites and SharePoint Designer
  • Experience in implementing an information architecture using content types, site columns, page layouts, managed metadata, keywords and other enterprise content management features
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system development using .NET (c#) FW3.5 or higher and Service Oriented Architecture using WCF web Services
  • Experience with BizTalk in systems integration would be an asset
  • Experience with technical documentation, MS Visio, MS Project and TFS
  • Ability to review event logs and ULS to conduct troubleshooting
  • Experience in data migration and synchronization in previous engagements will be definite asset
  • Experience in production support with strong analytical skills to identify and address production issues
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to understand, analyze, troubleshoot and solve technical issues under time constraints
  • Excellent communication skills and team working capabilities
