Job Description
Inventory Control Analyst
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills; customer service skills
- Courses in inventory control is an asset
- 3 – 4 years experience in similar role; experience in automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
- Strong coordination, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and problem solve issues from a variety of known options

- Support Quality System, QSB, Health, Safety and Environmental Management System Requirements
- Ability to maintain workstation in an organized and tidy manner
- Must be willing to work various shifts or perform other duties/tasks that are of reasonable request by Management
- Ensure that all duties and tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and at no time is the employee or the co-workers placed in an unsafe condition
- Oversee Inventory control functions;
- Cycle counts WIP, Finished goods and Components,
- Investigate Inventory Discrepancies, determine root cause and implement corrective actions
- Report Daily on inventory discrepancies
- Work with production and purchasing to ensure inventory accuracy. Work with scheduling to ensure on time
- delivery of materials
- Take leadership role in quarterly physical inventories
- Provide direction to other employees to ensure accurate production reporting
- Ensure that raw materials and product are dispersed and consumed based on FIFO
- Manage Chrysler containers, notify them of any shortages
- Receive customer containers into the appropriate customer systems
- Manage the inventories between 100 and 52 (outside warehouse)
- Assist with CUM discrepancy reconciliation process
- Contribute to continuous improvement, productivity, quality, customer service, cost reduction, safety and housekeeping
- Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, O. Reg 851 for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (with emphasis on Section 28, (1) (a)-(d), (2) (a)-(c)).
- Perform other duties as required
