Credit & Office Manager – Kitchener, Ontario
 
We are looking for a driven self-starter who can effectively lead and develop people and who is passionate about employee engagement, customer satisfaction and achieving results.
As the Credit & Office Manager, you will provide proactive leadership in our Kitchener Store in conjunction with the General Manager and the entire management team.
You will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring that Tepperman’s credit decisions adhere to our granting policy
  • Leading, training, coaching and motivating the Assistant Credit & Office Manager and all of our office staff
  • Completing daily, weekly and monthly reporting, as required
  • Working with and supporting Tepperman's customers on complex issues through first point of contact communication as well as issue resolution, in conjunction with other internal teams
  • Ensuring that the entire office staff upholds the expected level of customer service identified in our Customer Service Standards
  • Consistently exceeding all Key Performance Indicators for the store
You should have a proven track-record that highlights experience and excellence in:
  • Managerial positions (5+ years) as an engaging, motivating leader of people
  • Business acumen, as well as passion for retail
  • Leading and achieving results
  • Organizational aptitude in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate with customers in a range of delicate matters
  • Effective problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
