Our client, a nationally recognized food manufacturer in the beautiful Beaver Valley area is searching for a Product Developer to join their team. As the R&D Product Developer, you will provide manufacturing services and support in a team environment. You will also independently execute product development projects from initial concept to commercial launch in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will design and create new product prototypes, perform flavour grading/assessment of existing and prototype materials, and determine correct ingredient labeling, as well as nutritional and allergen information for all new products. You will maintain a clean and safe work environment, and perform any other duties as directed by the R&D Manager.

To qualify for this position, you will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field, and will have at least 4 years experience in R&D. Previous experience working in a food manufacturing facility is required, knowledge of dairy manufacturing an asset. You are willing to travel when required and possess a valid driver’s license. The ability to prioritize and meet ambitious deadlines, along with your ability to manage multiple projects and proven ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment are essential.
