Data and Reporting Specialist

Reporting to the Director, Technical Strategy you will be responsible for capturing, maintaining analyzing client data in Salesforce. Your excellent customer service skills and keen eye for detail will ensure our team is trained on how to use Salesforce to its fullest.
This is an entry level technical position that, in the early days, will have a large amount of manual work and over time you will ensure this is automated.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Significantly improve quality of existing data by reviewing account, contact and other information we have
- Process and import new data into our system, manually and through automated integration tools
- Explore and develop ways to automate the above processes
- Maintain and update existing reports and create new ones that use existing information to learn more about our existing customers and discover new ones
- Train and help others in the organization learn to use Salesforce and related tools more effectively
- Other duties such as displaying information in meaningful ways using dashboards etc
What you need
- Diligence. Frankly, some of this work is boring. There are a lot of records and there’s a lot that is missing and wrong. You are going to fix it by researching each and every one of those records individually.
- Curiosity and Brains. There are better ways to do this work. We know some of them but a lot of this is new to us and we’re hoping you’re going to learn as well as teach us.
- Experience. No, it’s not a core requirement but if you know anything about Salesforce, Campaign Monitor, data warehousing, report creation, business analysis and have done a bit of programming it is going to help you stand out.
