We are currently recruiting a full-time Programs Quality Engineer for a well-established company in Woodstock. This is a Permanent position that requires the right candidate to be an analytical and detail-oriented leader with strong computer skills.
The quality engineer will be working with the customer, new programs quality team, quality representatives, and production to ensure that customer requirements are met. This will involve:

The quality engineer will be working with the customer, new programs quality team, quality representatives, and production to ensure that customer requirements are met. This will involve:
- Developing standards and methods to inspect, test, and evaluate new model launches
- Participating in the corrective actions while verifying the root cause of effectiveness
- Developing tools to record, evaluate, and report quality and reliability data
- Documenting customer activities related to PPAP AND IMDS activities
- Attending launch milestones and tool trials with the customer in order to review new products and their quality
- Supervising quality representatives who are testing products to gather data concerning materials, products, and process quality
- Training employees and directing work
- Other duties as required.
- Diploma or Degree from College or University or 1-2 years equivalent experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience required
- ASQ, CQT, CQA, CQE an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet software, and CPK software required
- The ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Proficient in mathematical concepts such as fractions, ratios, proportions and percentages and applying them to practical situations
