Responsibilities:
- Train and supervise QC inspectors
- Compliance with EHS policies and SOX/BRC audit requirements
- Perform internal quality audits
- Coordinating with production managers/supervisors to provide necessary information on conformances and address non-conformances
- Establish and maintain customer specification files, inspect customer rejections, and represent company in quality negotiations/investigations with customers
- Maintain production samples
- Monitor sorting operations
- Coordinate research and development projects
- Quality inspection of incoming raw materials
- Oversee sanitation and pest control
- Develop and implement waste control programs, produce waste disposal reports
Requirements:
- 5+ years of quality management experience
- HACCP Quality Certification preferred
- Food industry experience preferred
