Facilities Maintenance

Advance Millwrights Inc. is an industry leader in custom bulk material handling solutions serving the agriculture, aggregates, recycling and industrial industries.  We specialize in the engineering, fabrication and installing innovative, high-quality systems that enhance efficiency, safety and productivity for some of the largest manufacturers in the world.  As a division of the TMG family, our business units work alongside one another to provide a single source for customers to elevate their operation – fulfilling their fabricating millwrighting and automation needs. 

A Facilities Technician is responsible for assisting in all shop requirements from, shop clean-up, general maintenance, and assisting on various shop projects. We are looking to add someone to our team who is eager to learn, detail-orientated and a team player.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for General Maintenance & House Keeping items such as shoveling entrance & salting.
  • Clean the shop floor using a ride-on cleaner.
  • Loading & unloading of deliveries as needed.
  • Basic Maintenance and repair item of facility.
  • Assist with various shop projects, including 5s projects.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all daily paperwork
  • General housekeeping duties
  • In accordance with company policy/ESA; overtime, work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company.
  • Driving Company Delivery Truck
  • Responsible for Delivery & Pickup of Local shipments.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

 

Requirements

  • Completion of High School or equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License and able to Insured
  • Forklift truck and material handling experience
  • Ability to hook up and drive with a trailer.
  • You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers.
  • You operate with a team spirit, not with ego; you want everyone, including yourself, to do their best work; you see your success as dependent on the success of the team.
  • You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues.
  • You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriately.
  • You are a straight shooter who gets to the point and can clearly communicate in both oral and written for.

Salary Range For The Role:

$20.00 to $29.00 per hour
